The 1967 Belgian GP was an historic event. Dan Gurney in his Eagle Westlake car won from starting second on the grid. Jackie Stewart placed 2nd for the BRM team and Ferraris Chris Amon came in third. This was this first win for an American constructor in a GP since the 1921 French GP where Jimmy Murphy raced his Duesenberg to victory.
