AAR Cuda
In 1970 AAR constructed a Plymouth Barracuda “Cuda” to compete in the famous Trans-Am series. It was first driven by Dan Gurney and then Swede Savage.
Originally, it was to be a two car effort however, budget cuts forced AAR to reduce to just a single car. Dan being the awesome guy he was, stepped aside and let Savage race the rest of the season after Gurney ran the first two. What a guy!
